Booking Conditions of Vaikon Loma ja Lohi

These conditions are binding on both parties once the client has paid the deposit referred to in these conditions.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Vaikon Loma ja Lohi will send international account number for a money transfer.

Any complaints about the invoice must be made within 7 days of the invoice date.

A booking is confirmed when the client has paid the deposit 25% of the cottage rent by the due 14 days from the invoice date, or has paid both the deposit and the final payment at one and the same time. The full / total amount must be paid at least 8 weeks before the holiday is due to begin.
Vaikon Loma ja Lohi will send confirmation of a booking.

If the booking is for 4 weeks or more, the deposit will be 50% of the rent.

If the client fail to pay the deposit within the period specified, the booking may be cancelled without further notice.

If the booking is made 8 weeks or less before the start of the rental period, the sum must be paid in full and within 7 days of the invoice date.

If the booking is made 30 days or less before the start of the rental period, the sum must be paid in full and within 2 days of the invoice date.

If the booking is made 14 days or less before the start of the rental period, the full sum must be paid immediately on booking.

If the client fail to pay, Vaikon Loma ja Lohi will cancel the booking without further notification.

 

CANCELLATION

Any cancellations must be made in writing by e-mail. The date on which Vaikon Loma ja Lohi receives the notification will be regarded as the date of cancellation.

In the case of a cancellation, the client will forfeit the deposit. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the start of the holiday, the client will be charged the full/total sum for the accommodation.

Regardless of the above, all sums with the exception of the deposit paid to Vaikon Loma ja Lohi will be refunded if the client or a person from the same household falls seriously ill, has an accident or dies. In this case, Vaikon Loma ja Lohi must be informed immediately of the cancellation, which must be properly verified by, for example, a doctor’s certificate. If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours from the start of or during the holiday, payments already made by the client will not be refunded.

 

 


RIGHT OF VAIKON LOMA JA LOHI TO CANCEL A BOOKING


Vaikon Loma ja Lohi may cancel a booking in the event of a force majeure. In this case, the client is entitled to a full refund of the sum paid.


THE COTTAGE ACCOMMODATION


The client is responsible for cleaning the cottage during the rental period and on departure. The number of people using the cottage must not exceed the number of sleeping places.


The client will be required to pay the owner direct for any damage caused to the cottage or its contents during holiday.


Any objections and complaints regarding the holiday accommodation must be made immediately direct to the owner.


DISPUTES


The contracting parties will attempt to resolve any disputes out of court. In a case fail to reach agreement, any disputes will be settled by Nilsiä District Court.


RIGHT TO CHANGE  PRICES


Vaikon Loma ja Lohi reserves the right to correct any errors in the price list before a rental agreement is made.
